Can't Get it Here: Cordless Wheelbarrow

I kid you not. While we've been busting a gut pushing old-fashioned wheelbarrows, the folks in Europe have been strolling across the jobsite behind these. What gives? Where were these things when I was a carpenter?

Why the hell isn't this sold in the US? Excellent product!

Well, since the U.S. is well on its way to becoming a third world country, we should see these things coming here pretty soon.

it is because we use things much bigger. I am a 1-man show and have a small stand on skid steer to do the heavy lifting. Now I could have used it many times. I have seen many muck trucks here in the US. Dave next time you stop at Milwaukee tools just drive up the road to Neus Hardware.

I have the DR Power Wagon. It is awesome. Hauls 700 pounds up steep slopes, takes a beating and keeps working. Engine mounts are the week point. Bought it used for $250. List price is steeper than the slopes it climbs.

The DR Power Wagon looks great but it's not as small and maneuverable as a three-wheel conventional wheelbarrow or the euro power wheelbarrows shown. (I noticed that the rechargeable battery shown in the video of the British wheelbarrow appears to be the same as the battery used by DR in its "Neuton" cordless electric lawn mowers.)
