DeWalt is recalling 364,000 XRP drill/drivers sold since June 2006 because of trigger switches that can overheat and start a fire. Models are the DC920, DC930, DC935, DC936, and DC940. The tools were sold independently; no tools sold in combo kits are affected. DeWalt will repair the products at their authorized service centers. To check if a tool is affected, call DeWalt at 800-433-9258 or go to www.dewalt.com. Tools on the market with these model numbers will have a green dot on the lower left corner of the package if they have been repaired, and are not subject to recall.Source: CPSC, Dec. 20, 2007
