Veto Pro Pac

Veto Pro Pac now offers its upright-storage-style tool bags in three designs. The original Model XL holds more than 100 hand tools of various sizes; Model XXL-F (shown) has space for more than 80 tools, with 55 pockets and two long, open storage areas for holding longer, larger tools; and Model LC, a smaller version of the XL, is a job-specific bag with 57 pockets and space for 75 hand tools. The bags have a fixed center panel that keeps tools upright for better organization, the maker says. Designed to handle the abuse of jobsites, the Stanley 4x4 ShockMaster toolbox has four Sofprene feet that provide shock absorption to protect the box and its contents, along with slip resistance to keep it secure on uneven surfaces, the maker says. Hitachi has redesigned its line of drywall screwguns. Models W6V4 VSR, W6VA4 VSR, W6VB3 VSR (shown), and W6VM feature 6.6-amp motors with 750 watts of input power. Depending on model, the tools deliver no-load speeds of 0 to between 2,600 and 6,000 rpm and maximum torque from 69.4 to 139.6 inch-pounds. Other features include aluminum gear cases and inner covers for durability, "turn of the nose cone" depth adjustment, a detachable nose piece, a 24.6-foot power cord, an outward-angled handle for comfort, a belt hook, and a large two-finger trigger. Part of Metabo's new line of benchtop woodworking tools, the KGS 305 12-inch dual bevel sliding compound miter saw has the industry's largest cross-cut capacity, the maker says, able to cross-cut materials 12-1/2 inches wide and 4-3/4 inches high. The tool's unique dust collection system removes dust from the base of the saw, and the tool is the first of its kind to indicate roof pitch angles on the miter scale, says the firm. The ProFlex reinforced polyurethane air hose is up to 50 percent lighter than comparable rubber hoses and remains flexible even in subzero temperatures, according to Senco.
