Tim Uhler, a framer on Washington's Kitsap Peninsula, is an avid photographer who occasionally shoots video. He recently purchased a GoPro camera and used it to shoot this time-lapse video of himself and Kyle Davis framing, sheathing, trimming, and standing a rake wall. The house is sheathed with Zip System sheathing so there’s no need for house wrap. Look closely and you’ll see that prior to standing the wall they installed both the rake trim and rake siding. The camera was attached to one of the company’s two 4-WD forklifts. The other forklift earns its keep by allowing two carpenters to move and install a heavy rake wall that would have been difficult to stand with a far larger crew.
