Builders' Show Education

The National Association of Home Builders announced its complete lineup of seminars and education courses at the 2008 International Builders' Show, Feb. 13-16 in Orlando, Fla. Topics range from practical building applications to home sales and marketing. Register online for both the show and seminars. Cost: $350 to $575, full registration including seminars. Crisis Management

Safety leadership is the focus of the ASSE Crisis Management symposium, Nov. 15-16 in Houston. Agenda includes developing company plans and processes for managing and and recovering from natural and other disasters in the workplace. Use this illustrated, fact-filled, PowerPoint file to create a two- to four-hour safety training course. Available online from the Design for Construction Safety Alliance, an OSHA Cooperative Program.
