CORDLESS PALM NAILER
Milwaukee Electric Tool Co. has added a professional-grade battery-powered palm nailer (model 2458-20/21) to its 12-volt cordless M12 line. Unlike other cordless nailers with angled heads, this unit is designed to be used with a hand-over-tool grip, like a conventional pneumatic nailer. According to the manufacturer, the new tool will be powered by next-generation "Red" lithium-ion batteries and has the capacity to drive both framing and joist-hanger nails.

CORDLESS ROTARY HAMMER
Hilti's new rechargeable battery-powered rotary hammer (model TE 4-A18) has a high-efficiency motor and eccentric gearing that, combined with its exclusive warranted 18-volt CPC batteries, enables it to drill more holes in concrete per charge than any other cordless rotary hammer in its class, says the company. Features include a keyless chuck, variable-speed trigger, and drop-resistant housing. Two drilling modes, hammer-drilling and drilling only, add to the tool's versatility.
