DeWalt Brand Mechanics Tools

Media event attendees were given an opportunity to use the tools for various applications - including stripping parts off the engine. By the time we were done there wasn't much left, at which point the product manager asked who was going to put the engine back together so he could drive home. No one volunteered - I think he had to walk ;)

This is the smallest mechanics set in the series.

This is DeWalt's mid-size mechanics set.

This is the big Kahuna.

DeWalt makes 1/4-, 3/8-, and 1/2-inch drive socket sets.

The case is hinged at the back and has metal latches at the front. Sockets slip onto fittings that pivot out from the case, which makes it easier to keep them organized and prevents them from falling out.

This is the ratcheting wrench set. There is also a combination set - boxed on one end and open on the other.

To demonstrate the strenght of these tools, manufacturer put the open end of a wrench on a nut inside the hoise and hung an engine off the boxed end. You can't see it from this angle, but the engine is suspended about an inch above the concrete block.
