Fein Power Tools

The company that introduced oscillating detail tools again leads the field with the first battery-powered professional-grade oscillating tool. Operating at up to 18,500 orbits per minute, the 18-volt SuperCut Cordless performs at the same level as the original corded electric SuperCut, Fein says, and it's 3.5 times faster than any other oscillating tool. It has an on-board battery charge indicator and comes with two 2.4-Ah lithium-ion rechargeable batteries and a charger. A full charge requires less than 30 minutes.

New additions to the T2 Technology metal-cutting reciprocating saw blade line include T2 Demolition & Wood reciprocating saw blades, which deliver twice the blade life of the company's previous demo and wood recip blades and cut 25 percent faster, says Lenox. The new blades have optimized tooth geometry for each blade specification, along with unique tooth shapes and set patterns to minimize friction, reduce blade-killing heat buildup, and cut more efficiently. The 6-inch wood-cutters also feature a plunge-cutting tooth design on the blade tips to make these cuts faster and easier.
